Privacy Policy

Phil’s Motorcycle Centre accesses and uses information from the Motor Vehicle Register (MVR) in a lawful, secure, and privacy-compliant manner, in accordance with requirements set by NZ Transport Agency (Waka Kotahi).

The purpose is to ensure the following:

• To confirm the registered person of the motor vehicle for trade-in purposes
• Verify that a change of registered ownership has been completed correctly as a purchaser or seller
• In case of safety recall, registered persons details may need to be accessed to advise
• Managed in compliance with the Privacy Act 2020

Any person can notify the motor vehicle registrar that you do not wish to have your name and address made available under authorisation.
